
Marco Di Felice - Renato (Un Ballo in Maschera), Jago (Otello)
Acclaimed
interpreter of Verdi’s operas, his repertoire includes also works by Mozart,
Rossini, Giordano and Puccini. Mr. Di Felice collaborated with such conductors
as: Bruno Bartoletti, Richard Bonynge, Bruno Campanella, Gianluigi Gelmetti,
Gustav Khun, Zubin Mehta, Gianandrea Noseda, Daniel Oren, Renato Palumbo,
Alberto Zedda. He was awarded the Ettore Bastianini Prize.
In the past
seasons he performed: La Forza del Destino (Don Carlo di Vargas) at the
Wiener Staatsoper, at the Maggio Musicale in Florence and in a production toured
in Modena, Pisa and Ravenna recorded on CD and DVD for Dynamic; La Traviata
at the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv and the Michigan Opera in Detroit; Il
Barbiere di Siviglia (Figaro) at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona; I
Pagliacci (Silvio), Aida (Amonasro) and Carmen at the Arena in
Verona; Tosca, Otello and Cavalleria Rusticana (Alfio) at
the Teatro Real in Madrid (with a DVD released by Opus Arte), in Barcelona and
Naples; Ernani (Don Carlo) and Falstaff (Ford) at the Teatro Regio
in Turin; Un Ballo in Maschera (Renato) at the Metropolitan Opera in New
York and the Opéra de Marseille; Rigoletto at the Opéra de Toulon; I
Puritani at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo; I Due Foscari in Bilbao
and for his debut at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan; Tosca at the Teatro
Petruzzelli in Bari; Maria di Rohan in Bergamo (Enrico); Otello at
the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari.
Future plans include: Aida and La
Gioconda at the Opéra in Marseille; La Traviata at the Teatro Regio
in Turin.
